Terms
Short, because the parts that matter are few and you should read all of them.
What we do
We check websites you tell us to check, and tell you when something looks wrong. We only ever read a website. We never change one, never log in to one, and never complete a purchase on one.
What you confirm
That you are allowed to have the websites you add monitored. Adding a site tells us to fetch its public pages regularly, and that is a decision for whoever is responsible for it.
What we do not promise
That we will catch everything. We check from outside, at intervals, and a website can break in ways nothing outside it can see. Use this as one signal among others, not as a guarantee that all is well — and never as a substitute for your own backups.
We also cannot promise perfect accuracy. When we are unsure we say so rather than guessing in either direction. If we ever report something as fine when it is not, that is a fault and we want to hear about it.
Stopping
You can stop at any time and we will stop checking. Ask us to delete your data and we will — see privacy for what we hold and for how long.
Liability
This is a monitoring tool. We are not responsible for lost business, lost rankings, or damage arising from a failure we did not detect or reported late. If that is not an acceptable risk for a particular website, this should not be the only thing watching it.
